In 1998 ideal-heim-bau was able to complete an entire house in two days thanks to technical innovations like the dado base set into the exterior wall and a solid 18 cm thick floor made of expanded clay which can be walked an immediately. The house: The assembled house with the pretty name Holunder has 127 square meters of living space. It is offered with regionally different facades which blend in optimally with the local landscape. The construction: The exterior walls from ideal-heim-bau are faced in brick at the factory where the pointing is also done. On the inside, the wall elements are plastered and have recesses, slits, and empty sockets and pipes for the installation of heating, sanitation, and electrical installations. Thanks to the dado base integrated into the wall, the exterior doors and the windows can be installed at the factory. The wall elements have a u-value of 0.29, The windows and exterior doors have a u-value of 1.1. With suitable insulation of the additional works, the solid houses from ideal-heim-bau fulfill all the criteria for a low energy house. Thanks to the high degree of prefabrication, the solid construction employed by ideal-heim-bau combines all the advantages of conventional brick on brick construction like an individual construction with the lightweight construction techniques with a short building time. The solid construction from ideal-heim-bau allows the owner of the house to individually plan his future home. Not only the floor plan, but also the exterior dimensions of the house can be freely chosen by the owner.
